First Day in Paris
After a 12 hour flight, we arrived in Paris, France. Our Parisian apartment is in the St. Germain, a lively neighborhood with cafes, boutiques and tons of charm. The apartment has the smallest elevator known to man, it fits 2 people max! Big windows, exposed beams and rooftop views - we're in love with this place. Not wanting to waste a moment we set out to explore. We made our way over to the Siene River and crossed the Pont Des Art, the bridge where you will find the famous love locks. Naturally we had to secure our own lock on the bridge, A + K Forever. The lines proved to be far too long at the Louvre for an afternoon visit, so we put it on our list for another day. Our first full meal in Paris was at the Atlas Cafe near the apartment. Cheese and charcutrie is always a must in Paris, paired with wine, Croque Monsieur, Beef Tartare and two bottles of wine, it was the ultimate meal to kickoff our adventure.
