Amalfi to Rome
We're leaving Praiano this morning to head to Rome by train. The sun is finally coming out, as it is our last morning here. We had one last cappuccino and the amazing cornetti with apricot puree inside. It was out of this world! We were sad to leave the Amalfi Coast, but we were excited for our next adventure. We went from Naples to Rome, while we enjoyed prosciutto and salami sandwiches, while on the train. It was one of the most simple and delicious sandwiches. After we made it to Rome, we walked in the pouring rain for a few minutes to only sit down at a restaurant to grab a cappuccino and a pizza. We waited out the rain and walked to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. We grabbed the most amazing gelato, called Don Nino's. It was $28 for the four of us, but it was worth it! We visited the coliseum in the evening and enjoyed it's beauty from the outside.
